More popularly known as a jazz musician from Japan, Yoshihiro Tsujimoto enlisted his trusty saxophone to do a cover of Avicii’s “Wake Me Up.” The young Tsujimoto sat at a drum set and supplied his own beat for the song, proving he can play more than just the saxophone and the clarinet. Here it is in all its glory.
The versatile artist was recently in Austin for SXSW. Get a load of the jam session he started earlier this month.
Mihiro Tsujimoto was born in Nara City and began his music education in junior high. He played clarinet in the brass band during junior high and continued in high school. Once he graduated and arrived at college, he encountered an alto saxophone player and joined the ALS Jazz Orchestra. He’s gone on to win many different awards and release two albums with the jazz band, Carmela. Now he’s making the rounds and continues to be a central figure in the jazz community. Perhaps Avicii will notice and hit up Tsujimoto for a collab. One can hope.

Phase 1 is finally out for Electric Zoo and boy oh boy this lineup sure is stacking up to be an all-time best for EZoo. When taking a quick glance you’ll notice names like Seven Lions, Excision, Sasha b2b John Digweed, Above & Beyond and Deadmau5 b2b Eric Prydz. With only phase 1 out this is enough to bring all EDM fans from different sub-genres together.
Stay tuned for phase 2!
Calvin Harris is coming out with another song! This new track will feature Ariana Grande, Pharrell Williams and Young Thug. Calvin Harris took to twitter today to announce that his new song is titled “Heatstroke”.
No teasers have been lead up to this song yet.
What a great way to start off the festival season! It seems like the crowd at Ultra is maturing and the changes made this year benefitted. With only 35 arrests made all weekend that represents a 50% decrease from 2016.
Only 59 people were transported to nearby hospitals from Ultra Music Festival. There were no deaths reported from UMF which is a big success for the music festival and its future in downtown Miami. It seems people finally understand the fact that they don’t have to be high to have fun.
Ultra Music Festival increased its age requirements to 18+, which started in 2015.
With Ultra Music Festival done and attendees finally feeling the post-festival withdrawals we can finally talk about the one topic that everyone agrees on which are the most overplayed tracks during the Ultra weekend. We posted a question on the Ultra Music Festival 2017 (Miami) group on Facebook, which asks those who attended the festival for “most overplayed songs this year at Ultra Music Festival?”.
We decided to list the top 5 and basically rank them by most overplayed track.
Ed Sheeran – Shape of You
Daddy Yankee – Gasolina
Migos – Bad and Boujee ft Lil Uzi Vert (raindrop drop top)
The Chainsmokers & Coldplay – Something Just Like This
Alan Walker – Faded

It’s finally Friday, which means Ultra is here! By now many of you have attended a good amount of Miami Music Week events that could add up to a whole new Ultra lineup. With that said it’s best to slow down now so you can make it through this intense weekend.
The most common mistake I see is that most party-goers continue into the weekend with their rigorous party schedule which includes pregaming before Ultra and planning on attending after parties after Ultra. We understand….. there’s a lot going on and too many good events with solid lineups. Focus on what you really came down for or you’ll be one of those selling their Sunday pass for super cheap because the party bug caught up.
Keep in mind that the Miami sun is no joke and that the city is known for its humidity so keep hydrated. The Heat alone will get you tired quick!
Remember to wear sunblock even if it’s cloudy you’ll still get a bad sunburn (welcome to south Florida), drink plenty of fluids what I mean is drink water and a fanny pack will always come in handy…. trust me 😉 It’s great knowing that you don’t have to check your pockets constantly.
With festival season about to kick off, many are planning what festivals to head to with music festivals like Ultra, Coachella and EDCLV at the top of the list I wanted to list a few other music festivals that should be checked out this year. With a new year comes new adventures :).

Here’s another pill warning coming out of Europe…. We all know the stuff that comes out of Europe is no joke. There have been ecstasy pills that contain 300mg or more of MDMA. Reports from BBC and other outlets have confirmed that a few teens had to be rushed to the hospital after taking these Pink Teddy Bears.
With festival season upon us, this is just a reminder to be careful. Drugs will always be a part of the rave community, and all we can do to save lives is to educate one another. Throughout the year new pills will be put out and bought by vets and first timers. Test you stash and research what you’re about to take . A well-trusted source to start with is Pill Report.
NGHTMRE decided to play the nice guy and upload his amazing remix of Goosebumps for fans to listen to for free. Since the remix became a big success at his shows and many asking him for the track id he went ahead and uploaded it to his Soundcloud.
“Made a bootleg remix of Goosebumps to play in my live sets. Since I’ve gotten so many fans asking for the track, I decided to release it for free!! I hope you guys like it! Lots of new music coming soon. ❤️”
