Bingo Players Release Summery Music Video For “Love Me Right”

Just last week, Bingo Players (aka Maarten Hoogstraten) released the summer anthem “Love Me Right” on Spinnin’ Records. The record functions as a true BBQ firestarter with its filtered grooves and synths chords reaching for the sky – and now Bingo Players has delivered a fun music video to accompany the release.

The music video for “Love Me Right” is set at a retro pool party filled with flowers, smiles, and great times had by all. The girl who started the pool party has a suitor join her, showcasing the overall message of the song in a light-hearted way. The vintage vibe of the video matches the style of the song perfectly, proving “Love Me Right” to be an excellent addition to any summer playlist.

Known for breakout hit “Cry (Just a Little)” and of course the globally acclaimed smash “Get Up (Rattle)” together with Far East Movement, this Dutch act has since then been on the forefront of electronic music. Playing gigs all over the globe, headlining major festivals, while dropping exciting new singles that rock audiences everywhere, Bingo Players is a constant for quality dance music.
“The release of ‘Love Me Right’ is really exciting to me as I feel it incorporates the classic Bingo Players sound. The record harkens back to Cuts like ‘Cry (Just A Little)’ but with a fresh summer 2018 twist to it. I’m looking forward to fans thoughts on this one!!” said Bingo Players.

Elements NYC Music And Art Festival Celebrates Five Years With Music, Art & Technology

Introducing ‘Art of the Future’ – Over 14 Technology-Driven Immersive Art Installations + Final Set-Times Announced.
After a hugely successful exploration into art and music at Elements Lakewood 3 day camping festival in May, BangOn!’s Elements NYC Music and Art Festival returns to New York City on Saturday, August 11th to celebrate its fifth anniversary. Taking place at Hunts Point in the Bronx, the festival welcomes Bassnectar, Emancipator, Desert Dwellers, Snakehips, SNBRN, Goldfish, Justin Jay and more top names as it announces the final set times. Blending an industrial waterfront location with visionary technology, out-of-this-world immersive art, interactive performances and mind blowing musical talent, Elements NYC is a must this summer for lovers of quality music and art with a passion for exploring the latest in creative innovation.
Elements NYC 2018 taps one of its most exciting lineups to date, bringing 32 artists together across dubstep, house, funk and more to perform across five uniquely themed stages. Bass music heavyweight Bassnectar headlines the bill with downtempo guru Emancipator, British hip-hop duo Snakehips, California’s own Dirtybird Players with Justin Jay and Sacha Robotti and many more joining the roster. Elements also takes the experience beyond music alone, meticulously placing each artist at the stage that best fits their sound. Both emotional and heavy acts such as Bassnectar and Emancipator hit the Earth Stage, silky smooth artists like SNBRN and Goldfish grace the Water Stage, the lively Dirtybird Players take over the Fire Stage, and ethereal rising performers like Dance Spirit (Live), Lost Desert and more land at the Air Stage.
Elevating beyond the music, Elements NYC curates an immersive experience unlike any other with ‘Art of the Future’ showcasing installations and technology-driven pieces from 14 artists. Marpi will present a take on interactive, large-scale projection mapping using Kinect (a line of motion sensing devices), while photographer Jarid Blue will use human bodies as his canvas to project digital imagery. Utilizing mixed media, Justin Wood will combine projections with mirrors and fog, and LED sculptures by Orbism will pulse to attendees heartbeats. Rhizome will showcase stunning projection mapping using CNC design creating incredible textures and depth, meanwhile Seth Hosko & Dan Ragan will treat festival goers to an immersive audio and video sound experience. Other notable installations include a sensor-based infinity mirror that responds to one’s presence by Brendan Burke, a sculpture by Vicki Lam using mixed media technology that combines projections with UV light and water, “Salix Vivifica,” a weeping willow by Dom Romaniello & Rachel Smucker that uses sensor-based misters, and “Whispers in the Grove” a collection of LEDS and sensors that respond to sound by Mirabai Howard-Geoghan, Kathy Creutzburg, and Natalia Lesniak.
After wowing attendees in Lakewood with their exceptional decor, the creative team led by Julianne Irene has collaborated with 30 artists to transform Hunts Point into an interactive playground that begs to be explored. Fans will be impressed by climbable structures and the Lotus art car by Eagle Rock Studios, an alien garden known as the ‘Galactic Green House,’ and ‘Pipe Dreams’ – a dark cosmic peep show hidden inside a silo. Other decor that is sure to impress includes pyro at the Fire Stage and psychedelic alien-esque trees growing throughout the Earth Stage by Chateau Brooklyn. Bringing all five art cars from Lakewood, the iconic pirate ship last seen sailing in Pennsylvania will drop the anchor on land serving as the Water Stage. Numerous performers will roam the grounds including Team Kitty Koalition comprised of gogo and choreo dancers, stilt walkers, aerialists, fire, LED performers and thrilling over the top circus antics and jaw-dropping dance numbers with Fou Fou Ha. For those looking to partake in some fun-filled physical activities, festival goers can head over to the Big Kids Carnival Games presented by funtender Rawb Lane.
Fans can test their skills at knocking down targets at The Wet Paint Pitch, drop it like it’s hot at The Bass Drop vertical target game and after dark, join in on a glow-in-the-dark Champagne Ring-Toss. For those needing to refuel, a plethora of food vendors on site will cater to every palate with options varying from tacos to burgers, Thai, Mediterranean, vegan rolls, lobster rolls and slushies. Keeping health and wellness in mind, Elements will also host an abundance of workshops, bass yoga, sound healing, meditation and much more making this one of the most diverse and engaging festival experiences to hit the East Coast this year.
Advance tickets available now via Night Out.

PORTER ROBINSON’S SIDE PROJECT VIRTUAL SELF SHARES NEW TRACK “ANGEL VOICES”

Porter Robinson’s side project, Virtual Self shares the technic-Angel edit of “Ghost Voices”called “Angel Voices.”

After announcing the headline tour last week, the general on-sale tickets for Porter Robinson’s Virtual Self North America Virtual Self Utopia Tour are available today via VirtualSelf.co/UtopiaTour. The tour kicks off with a performance at Electric Zoo on Friday 8.31 in New York and stops in cities from Austin to Vancouver. More Utopia live dates on the West Coast will be announced shortly.

The Utopia show combines two sets into one — one set each from the two Virtual Self “producers”. First, a techno, 2-step and trance segment from Robinson’s technic-Angel moniker, followed by a mashing of gabber, jungle and hardcore from Pathselector. The immersive performance will bring fans into a world of mutated 2001-era warehouse rave complete with custom-built lighting and stage production that looks unlike anything else in electronic music. People will be quick to notice that Porter’s commitment to the aesthetic is just as effortful as his previous live shows, and it’s safe to say that this will be the most unique show of 2018.

A concept predicated on the influences of his youth, with Virtual Self, Robinson taps into an affinity for early 2000’s visual aesthetic, looking to “combine three tropes from the period that didn’t overlap much at the time: digital abstract, arcane magic design, and digital grunge, all into a single early-aughts flavor,” a thematic thread which weaves through both the project’s sonic and visual identities.

After captivating tastemakers with his 2010 single “Say My Name,”Porter Robinson released his debut EP via Skrillex’s OWSLA label in 2011, and signed to Astralwerks two years later at just 21. The next year he released his album Worlds, an expansive LP that includes“Divinity” (as heard in Google’s “Year in Search” commercial) and his landmark single “Sad Machine.” The success of his first release led to 300 million album streams and 100,000+ in ticket sales for his 2014 Worlds Live tour – including headlining stops across North America, Europe and Australia – and appearances at top festivals including Coachella, Tomorrowland and Splendour in the Grass. 2016 saw Porter Robinson’s collaboration with longtime friend Madeon for their successful single “Shelter.” The track garnered over 150m streams with the accompanying video, an anime short-film written by Porter, reaching over 30m views. The campaign culminated in a sold out North American tour, capped with a highly praised Coachella Main Stage performance.

Rezz Drops New Single “Flying Octopus”

REZZ has made available her new single “Flying Octopus,”the third track following “Witching Hour” and “H E X” from her upcoming new album Certain Kind Of Magic (out August 3 on mau5trap).  Says REZZ of the song, “It’svery chill. Not headbang worthy by any means, more like ‘building a puzzle’ music or like a bunch of flying octopus’ floating around…”
To accompany the song, REZZ teamed with Ireland’s Pink Kong Studios for its video.  The animated piece features an octopus receiving messages from REZZ in a bottle to help him map out a way to fly to her on Neptune. Using the help of his friends, this is all made possible.
Meanwhile, this past Tuesday, July 17, REZZ showcased her new body of work at a special event at the Magic Castle in Hollywood, CA.  A small group of industry and fans from The Cult of REZZ were privy to a private magic show followed by an exclusive listening of the album.  In attendance were The Glitch Mob, DESTRUCTO, Tokimonsta and mau5trap artist Rinzen.
CERTAIN KIND OF MAGIC-which also features collaborations with emerging artists like Deathpact, Kotek, 13 and Fytch, adding to the battery of her menacing productions–follows REZZ‘ 2017 full-length debut Mass Manipulation (mau5trap) which brimmed with the innovative singles and collaborations that consistently portray the menacing soundscapes she is known for and truly showcased her forward-thinking and unique mentality. The worldwide critical acclaim from the likes of Billboard (who dubbed her Billboard Dance Breakout Artist of the Year), MixmagDancing Astronaut, and many more is testament to the fact that REZZ has truly become a tastemaker and trendsetter in the industry.
