Top 100 DJs Celebrate Their 25th Anniversary, Enter For A Chance to Win a Trip To ADE

This year, DJ Mag celebrates their 25th anniversary of the Top 100 DJs poll, the definitive annual guide to the world’s most popular DJs, However, this year, they’ve partnered with UNICEF to give fans the opportunity to win a free trip for them and a friend to Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE).

The polling started in 1993 with a fresh faced 20 year old Carl Cox winning all the way to last years second win for Martin Garrix. It first launched as an editorial list to celebrate the 100th edition of DJ Mag, however, it was’t until 1997 that DJ Mag decided to make the Top 100 DJs a publicity-voted poll. Ever since the polling launched, there has only been 11 DJs crowned the official “World’s No. 1 DJ” including Carl Cox, Paul Oakenfold, Sasha, John Digweed, Tiesto, Paul Van Dyk, Armin Van Buuren, David Guetta, Hardwell, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, and Martin Garrix, who held last year’s no. 1 spot and was dubbed the youngest DJ to win.

Over the years, over 25 of the world’s most renowned female DJs have appeared in the poll, including Lisa Lashes, Sister Bliss, Magda, Nervo, Krewella, Alison Wonderland, Anne Savage, Sonique, Lottie and more.

In 2017, the Top 100 DJs Poll achieved a staggering 878 million combined social reach, featured genres ranging form house and big room EDM to techno and trance, as well as drum & bass, bass and hardstyle, with the inclusion of artists from countries as far and wide as Australia, South Africa, Brazil and China.

In their search for the world’s no.1 DJ, Top 100 DJs is working with UNICEF, the world’s no.1 organization for children, to build a safer world for every child.

Right now, millions of children are in danger. They’re facing violence, disease, hunger and the consequences of war and disaster. You have the power to save and change a child’s life. Today, by supporting UNICEF’s partnership with DJ Mag, you can protect a child in danger, transform their life and build a safer world for children.
