The next rising talent in the bass music community has finally made his way to the Buygore Records team with in their upcoming three-track venture. Following his recent single “Ryu” off the March 2018 Fresh Blood Vol. 4 compilation via the Buygore imprint Fresh Blood, the Colorado-based DJ/producer has built a name for himself by the epithet Stabby, as he recently dropped his latest Blade EP.

Solidifying his structural approach in music production, Stabby’s ‘Blade’ EP, this bodywork of bass music highlights melodic preludes, synth-laden
essentials, and slamming basslines from start to finish. Kicking off with “First Duel”, Stabby wastes no time and delivers an extreme dose of razor-sharp, deafening bass and drumwork. Leading into “Musket”, the ‘Blade’ EP takes a dive into the choppy climax with ravenous rhythms and punchy beats. Last but not least on the epic concluding track “Permadeath”, Stabby enlists the aid of Harvey Thompson as the only featured collaboration, a
UK-based dubstep producer under the moniker Chime who has recently burst into the bass music community. Set to be released on May 4th, Buygore Records is excited to welcome a new face to the family.

Known best for his deep and primal percussion, “stabby” basslines, and ever-evolving, razor sharp sound, rising British producer Dean Cawley (also known as Stabby) has been making colossal moves during his short time in the limelight.

Since commencing his journey through the fibers of electronic music five years ago at the impressively young age of 17, Stabby has employed his lifelong love of rock music alongside a vast array of other genres to concoct a distinct musical style. Boasting a perfect blend of head-bobbing grooves and potent sounds that fuse the most personally inspiring and deeply
engaging elements from blues, synth-pop and post-hardcore, Stabby’s music constantly aims to create an entirely unique, jarring and bass heavy experience that is equally visceral and unforgettable.

Originating back in 2014, the Fresh Blood imprint behind the Buygore
Records team has risen to prominence over the past few years. The electronic music hub, lead by one of dance music greatests Borgore, is getting ready for a major milestone as we countdown to the 100th release. With a very special 100-minute mix by the label head himself, Asaf Borger.

The 100-minute mix from Borgore comprises some of the most
successful Fresh Blood releases as well as some of Borgore’s personal
favorites. Fresh Blood 100 is a small representation of the dynamic
collection of electronic artists the imprint has added to their eclectic roster; with hand-picked selections ranging from Fresh Blood Vol. 2 all the way through to the most recent compilation, the Fresh Blood 100 Mix highlights the stylistic evolution of the imprint and illustrates a vivid journey from the very beginning to what the sub-label plans on accomplishing next. Out on April 30th, Borgore’s special 100-minute mix will mark the 100th release milestone of the imprint Fresh Blood.

Currently one of the leading bass music acts within the electronic dance music soundscape, Gentlemens Club returns to Buygore Records with a two-track ‘Want U’ EP on April 27th. The trio is consistently pumping out instant classics with their ‘Want U’ EP approaching on the horizon.

Following their recent collaboration “Freak” with label head Borgore off the ‘5 Weeks of Gore’ series, the dubstep triad is back and brings a whole new sound to the table. The original mix of “Want U” displays Gentlemens Club signature flair of striking grooves and carefree waves of slamming basslines, while their ‘Upgrade Remix’ illustrates a drum n bass recreation.
Breathing new life into the original mix, this remix is a fiery collection of playful drums, string-plucked chords, and heavy UK bass music influences. Out on April 27th, the forthcoming Gentlemens Club ‘Want U’ EP is set to be a dance floor killer.

Ever since the Gentlemens Club formed in 2013, the UK-based trio have proved unstoppable, breathing new life into the global dubstep and bass scene with edgy hip-hop and grime influenced bangers.
Respectively Coffi (Lewis Pittham), Soloman (Saul Mountford) & 50 Carrot (Amani Haskins) developed their own unique low-end heavy styles, now fused together under the household name–Gentlemen’s Club. Their influence spans several successful years of international tours, viral VIP’s and massive remixes. Building on the collective’s widespread appeal, they’ve steadily built their empire in the form of a GC imprint and sought after apparel line. Poised to take over the world, you won’t find another more dedicated bass squad with their unforgettably hyped live sets and heavyweight barrier breaking beats. Get a dose of pure class and make sure to catch them at an event near you.

Returning to the Buygore Records sub label Fresh Blood comes a familiar face from the 2017 Fresh Blood Vol. 2 compilation widely known as YDG. Fully loaded with heavy vibrations, a hard industrial feel, and intricate sound designs, YDG’s latest musical effort “Warlords” melds the auditory with the visual. While straying away from his debut Fresh Blood release
“1234”, YDG’s new single illustrates his adeptness in producing a boundless range of sounds.

Hooking listeners with a horrific, piercing ringing, “Warlords” is a
culmination of bass heavy elements spliced together for a well-crafted
masterpiece. What sounds like violent basslines rotating on an axel helps sustain the aggressive energy level throughout the track. Oscillating builds and arpeggiated synths dive into an eerie interlude, yielding a suspenseful sensation as listeners prepare for the explosive conclusion. Possessing a powerful electronic feel, YDG’s “Warlords” displays the jagged edge of experimental bass music, coming to the Fresh Blood imprint on April 17th.

Aiming to provide a platform for artists of all calibers, the Buygore Records sub label Fresh Blood says hello to a new face known as SubDocta. In this debut single, “Skeleton Key” is an attention grabbing, dub heavy sonic concoction introducing the darker, more innovative side of electronic

Opening with a slow-burning introduction, “Skeleton Key” dives head first into a deep abyss of phlegmatic wobbles and ravenous rhythms. SubDocta successfully delivers a smooth blend of metallicsounds, speaker rattling basslines, and eerie melodies keeping the listeners on their toes. Releasing on April 10th via Buygore’s Fresh Blood imprint, “Skeleton Key” illustrates experimentation at it’s finest.

SubDocta is known for throwing down his own brand of dubstep, trap, and hybrid styles too odd for the typical nightclub scene. His eclectic taste and production skills have landed him performances at festivals and shows throughout the west and beyond including Lucidity, The Bounce, Emissions Bass Culture, Enchanted Forest, The Untz, StillDream, The Pirate Party,
and Bass Camp multiple years in a row. With releases on labels such as MalLabel and ShadowtrixMusic, plus with Bassnectar supporting his songs, he has proven himself worthy of our ever-growing scene. Look forward to forthcoming singles, EPs and heavy festival/touring performances in 2018; SubDocta is on his way up.

Niveau Zero x Holly – Are We Alone?

Following his latest Fresh Blood release with his 2017 ‘Beijing’ EP, the Portugal-based producer Holly returns to the Buygore Records sub-label with a new sound. Recruiting fellow Fresh Blood artist Niveau Zero, “Are We Alone” is a fiery crossover of global influences from Portugal to France.

Holly is coming back stronger than ever in “Are We Alone?”; splicing together the multi-layered sound design Holly is known for while Niveau Zero’s harder edge delivers an industrial vibe to the track, these two are without a doubt a dangerous duo. The pixelating prelude leads into an oscillating build up calling attention to their experimentation with evolving styles. Out on March 20th, Niveau Zero and Holly come together in “Are We Alone?”

Frédéric Garcia, a.k.a. Niveau Zero, a true pioneer of French bass-music and co-founder the of Château Bruyant records, is an artist with various influences. With two albums and numerous EPs released by prestigious labels such as Buygore, Never say die, Uplink Audio, Rottun, Ad
Noiseam, DOOM Music, H.E.N.C.H, and Boka rec, Niveau Zero is continually touring across the
world — from Russia to the USA, from Liban to Mexico. He can be found playing acclaimed clubs like Berghain or Razzmatazz and famous festivals like Fusion, I LOVE TECHNO, Astropolis, les Transmusicales de Rennes, Le Printemps de Bourges, la Technoparade and Dream Nation.
Along with appearing on BBC1 and Rinse FM, he presents and promotes his own radio show on RINSE FRANCE. He is mixed and supported by major artists in the music scene like Figure, Dirtyphonics, Excision, Downlink, Skism and more. His latest EP, “00:00”, in collaboration with Krimer, The Unuk, XTRONX and released by Downlink’s imprint Uplink Audio is a genuine demonstration of power. Protect ya neck!

Despite hitting the scene a mere four years ago, Lisbon-based Holly has toured America, Europe, Australia, Africa and Asia stemming from a flood of releases on Buygore, Fool’s Gold, Dim Mak, Revealed, Spinnin, Circus Records, Monstercat and Division Recordings. Whilst earning steadfast support from the likes of Bassnectar, Baauer, Noisia, DJ Shadow, Martin
Garrix, Borgore, The Chainsmokers, Hardwell, Afrojack and Steve Aoki, he was featured in DJ MAG and Run The Trap as one of their ‘Top 25 Artists to Watch in 2018’. Holly has also won the prestige A-Trak beat battle “Goldie Award” in 2017. With a musical background stemming from Hip-Hop, DnB and all corners of the bass world, Holly’s live performances emote a balanced mix of raw energy, excitement and eclectic taste that’s helped him develop a loyal following around the globe.

With an ever-expanding global soundscape, there is an unlimited reserve of new sounds and up-and-coming artists from around the world. Buygore Records’ Fresh Blood sub-label has welcomed some of the underground bass music scene’s most promising of 2017; as we begin the new year, it feels more than fitting to expand the Fresh Blood roster for a hidden gem from South Africa. Operating under the moniker Jon Casey, our next release gives listeners a palatable sampling of tunes that reflect his inner maestro in his forthcoming ‘6 Caliber’ EP.

The forthcoming ‘6 Caliber’ project is the first of its kind on the Fresh Blood imprint. Straying away from the typical dubstep-centric releases, Jon Casey’s four-track installment introduces a variety of rap-infused, experimental-style beats from the underground. Each track on the EP enfolds another facet of Jon Casey’s production skillset. “Flexin’” featuring LA-based rapper Macntaj gives ‘6 Caliber’ a robust preamble, fusing together elements of hip-hop, rap, and freeform trap rhythms. Jon Casey’s ‘6 Caliber’ is also home to three new collaborators. Featuring Philadelphia-based hip hop artist Abrax Phaeton on the bass heavy track entitled “Get Right”, as well as Jetset and Magmag on “Chainsaw”, it is clear that Casey’s skillfulness reaches new heights with every release.

Hailing from Pretoria, South Africa, Casey’s ‘6 Caliber’ EP is set to be the first Fresh Blood release of the new year. The self-taught bedroom music producer may only be 21-years-old, but he is entering 2018 with a promising start. After bringing his unique sound design from South America to the U.S., Jon Casey does not disappoint in his forthcoming Fresh Blood release.
