The Chainsmokers and NGHTMRE Join Forces For “Save Yourself”

On their new release “Save Yourself,” The Chainsmokers and NGHTMRE demonstrate the magic that can happen when two prolific artists with radically different sounds bring their A-game to a collaboration. The track delivers NGHTMRE‘s signature heavy basslines and stabbing synths along with The Chainsmokers‘ high-energy production and penchant for catchy vocals; the result is a masterful exhibit of genre-bending music that’s guaranteed to be on heavy radio and festival rotation this season. “Save Yourself” is out on Sony Music/Disruptor Records, and The Chainsmokers and NGHTMRE couldn’t be more stoked to officially share it with their fans.

Tyler(NGHTMRE) has been a good friend of ours for some time and we always talked about how great it would be to work together on a song. We have always been a huge fan of his style of producing and thought that if we came together on a song we could make something really unique and badass, and the idea of making something really gnarly was very appealing. We come from the dance world, those are our roots and we are really excited to release a song that is deeply rooted in that with NGHTMRE. We think our fans will be really excited about this one!” – say The Chainsmokers.

Fresh off of his recent Billboard Hot 100 Festival performance, NGHTMRE was looking forward to releasing the track after dropping it during several live sets.

“The guys and I had been talking about working on something together for a little while. I was excited to hear they wanted to create a heavier track with more of a festival vibe. Everything just came together so perfectly in the end and the track has been smashing in our live shows. Hope you guys like it as much as we do!”

Both NGHTMRE and The Chainsmokers have experienced monumental success in their relatively short careers, soaring to the upper echelon of dance music stardom. Through his meticulous, earth-shattering productions and equally electrifying live sets, NGHTMRE has earned his place as one of bass music’s most notable artists. Since 2015’s instant hit “Gud Vibrations,” (with SLANDER), he’s grown the Gud Vibrations brand to a multi-event series, selling out their boat party during Miami Music Week and launching their own festival in SoCal. Likewise, The Chainsmokers have become one of the most recognizable faces in electronic music, with a multitude of mega-hits, including their debut “Selfie” and radio gems “Closer,” “Paris,” and many more. We can’t wait to see what these artists come up with next as they continue to evolve and change the paradigm of modern dance music.

NGHTMRE and Pell Join Forces For ‘Magic Hour’ EP

Renowned producer NGHTMRE and acclaimed artist Pell join the forces of bass music and hip-hop in their new collaborative Magic Hour EP, released on Diplo‘s Mad Decent.

Featuring two tracks, “Swiss” and “Lights Low,” the EP crosses both genres and moods, combining sensual basslines and provocative lyrics in the bedroom-ready “Lights Low” and then lightening the mood with the feel-good, party-ready vibes of “Swiss.” “Magic Hour” is on trend with the recent movement of fusing bass music and hip-hop, but NGHTMRE and Pell aren’t two that create cookie-cutter music – the tracks are crafted with the sophistication and unique musical soundscapes of artists who are masters at their craft.

To take the immersion one step further, NGHTMRE and Pell filmed a two-part music video for the Magic Hour EP in Japan, where the vivid scenery of the rural pink moss blooms and the neon lights of Tokyo set a stunning backdrop for the EP’s different styles. Through a lens of vibrant, glowing colors and trippy simulations, the video follows Pell, accompanied by NGHTMRE, through a metaphorical transformation to tell the story of ambition, sacrifice, and the duality of life.

NGHTMRE has taken his spot as one of the leading bass producers in the scene through his meticulously earth-shattering productions and equally electrifying live performances. He has been ubiquitous for the past several years through a slew of successful releases, from 2015’s instant hit “Gud Vibrations” to his recent “Another Dimension” collaboration with Dillon FrancisNGHTMRE has been on fire in 2018 thus far, with a massive remix of Flosstradamus‘s “MVP“, a mainstage performance at the iconic EDC Las Vegas, and an Asia tour including EDC ChinaEDC Japan, and Creamfields Beijing.

While NGHTMRE has been a household name in the electronic music world, Pell has been rising in another circuit. When he was displaced by Hurricane Katrina at just fourteen years old, all Pell had to hold on to was the New Orleans-style music he had grown up with. This love quickly translated into a blossoming career; his independently released “Floating While Dreaming” put him on the grid with rave reviews. From there on, Pell continued to delight and impress with releases such as “girasoul“, his most recent, establishing himself as a leading artist in rap and experimental music.

NGHTMRE Drops “On The Run” Featuring Passeport Out

With a busy 2017 ahead, NGHTMRE is not slowing down on releasing music. He recently dropped “End Of The Night” with Ghastly, “Embrace” with Carmada, and remixed Fat Joe’s hit “Lean Back” and DJ Snake’s recent “Here Comes The Night.”

The track is equipped with mesmerizing vocals from Passeport Out, and features a stunning electric guitar riff, descending into a seductive drop. The producer’s signature melodic-bass style is still heard throughout the song, giving it that perfect blend of harmony and enticing sounds.
