MK Drops Official Video For Dancefloor Smash “BACK & FORTH” w. Jonas Blue & Becky Hill

Directed by Finn Keenan, the video showcases the special symptoms of a man who has contracted a contagious and terminal “Back & Forth” medical condition. This deadly fever starts off with his body jerking sporadically to the beat without end, thus causing much worry to his partner. The humorous production follows the afflicted man from his first symptoms to the worsening later stages of this rare condition, with his new-found dance-fever soon proving infectious to those around him.
An upbeat record led by MK’s contagious signature piano-house sound,“Back & Forth” follows the success of Marc‘s huge 2017 smash “17” and 2016 gold-certified hit “Piece of Me”with Becky Hill, who pairs her soulful vocals with the instinctive pop sensibility of Jonas Blue on“Back & Forth.”
As the proud owner of his Area10 label and event brand, which has hosted parties worldwide, headlining stages at the likes of SW4, Creamfields and
Croatia’s Defected Festival, as well as his appearances at Ibiza’s HI, Ushaia, Pacha and the sold-out weekly Ibiza Rocks Area 10 series this past summer,
MK‘s reputation as a true musical innovator and mentor is firmly rooted within the dance music community thus gaining widespread respect from both the underground as well as the more mainstream audience.
To support the release of “Back & Forth,” MK can be seen on a joint tour with Camelphat“The BigFallback 2018″ is their first U.S. tour together that features special guest Will Clarke on select dates.  Accomplished house music producers and DJs on their own, they’re coming off the hottest summer on record ever in Europe and the U.K.

AMELIE LENS JOINS RICHIE HAWTIN ON THE CLOSE TOUR TO NORTH AMERICA

Iconic electronic music artist and technology visionary RICHIE HAWTIN today (Oct 4) announces Belgian electronic music artist and one of the fastest rising stars in today’s techno scene AMELIE LENS will join him as support for his only North American show this year of CLOSE – his award-winning audio-visual show set at Brooklyn’s Avant Gardner in New York City on Saturday, December 8. The event is produced by OUTPOST Events.
“I first heard Amelie at ADE last year. I thought the best way to see if she was any good was to go on the dancefloor and dance, which I did.  I couldn’t see her from where I was and was sucked into the music she was playing –  a mix of old and new strong techno records, tough but not hard, fast and throbbing which was hypnotic and energized,” states RICHIE HAWTIN“Honestly, it was really refreshing to hear a Techno set that wasn’t too abrasive and didn’t make you feel like you should be marching instead of dancing. It was definitely intense, but there was an underlying groove that made it fun and infectious.”
“As a young artist it really impresses me how Richie keeps innovating and reinventing himself. He keeps finding new ways to express himself and in my opinion that is exactly why he has been on the top of the scene since so many years,” adds AMELIE LENS. “Always looking for more, always looking to do better. To me he is a legend, a true inspiration and I’m honored to be involved in this project.”

HAWTIN’s show, CLOSE – SPONTANEITY AND SYHNCHRONICITY, explores the relationship between human creativity and the innovative technologies that enable an artist to express themselves. The show was voted Best Live Performance at the Ibiza DJ Awards this year and Best Live Performance 2017 at the DJ Awards. Having debuted the concept at Coachella followed by shows at Primavera Sound, ADE and Vivid LIVE at the Sydney Opera HouseCLOSE opens up the DJ booth for a transparent masterclass in Spontaneity & Synchronicity. It represents how far the art of DJing can be pushed today, thanks to a completely improvised performance which means no two shows are the same.
In recent years, HAWTIN’s pioneering work has crossed over into artistic and cultural fields, collaborating with Anish Kapoor – one of the most influential sculptors working today – at the Grand Palais in Paris; performing live as Plastikman at the Guggenheim in New York for fashion designer Raf Simons; and creating soundscapes to the photographic work of Andreas Gursky at the Gagosian in New York and K20 in Dusseldorf. HAWTIN‘s electronic productions and DJ sets make him one of the most respected artists to emerge from the early 1990s techno scene.
The Great Hall at Avant Gardner is the quintessential Brooklyn industrial warehouse, that’s anything but. A massive and soaring space equipped with KV2 Audio’s VHD5.0 sound system, customizable rigging capabilities and fully programmable lighting fixtures built to immerse attendees in the ultimate show experience.
OUTPOST is an event series produced by the award-winning team at OUTPUT featuring top tier electronic artists in world-class performance spaces.

RÜFÜS DU SOL SHARES THIRD SINGLE ‘LOST IN MY MIND’

One of the world’s most celebrated live electronic bands RÜFÜS DU SOL share the third offering, ‘Lost In My Mind’ from their forthcoming album ‘SOLACE’. Highlighted as one of the most ambitious and gritty tracks off the album, it is honoured today as Zane Lowe’s World Record with Apple Music Beats 1, and comes as the band grace the cover of September legendary dance music publication, Mixmag. ‘Lost In My Mind’ puts forth a pent up desire for escapism and a true grasp for analogue sound-design, confirming ‘SOLACE’ as the band’s most mature and thought provoking effort to date.

RÜFÜS DU SOL has spent the past year in Venice, California, writing and recording their third album, which is largely influenced by the dichotomy of the stark desert landscapes and beautiful coastline of California. It’s a fuller exploration of RÜFÜS DU SOL’s ever evolving musical spectrum, a deeper dive and a more intimate glimpse into both melancholy and transcendence.

“It feels like a new RÜFÜS. We are inspired by our new home out here, by the people we’ve met and the music we’ve heard along the way. We’ve got a refreshed sense of ambition and cannot wait to share our creation with the world.” RÜFÜS DU SOL

‘Lost In My Mind’ arrives in the midst of RÜFÜS DU SOL’s largest run of headlining live shows. The band just wrapped a triumphant run in Europe with sold-out shows at London’s O2 Forum and Manchester’s Club Academy. Heading out to embark on a US tour, the trio return back to Europe for a string of dates in late-November, early-December across Glasgow, Manchester, Birmingham and London alongside Amsterdam, Paris, Cologne and Berlin. This news arrives alongside the much-anticipated release of the tracklist for the album ‘Solace’, outlining nine anthems sure to continue the journey set forth by ‘No Place’, ‘Underwater’, and ‘Lost In My Mind’.

Nitti Gritti Surprises Fans with his “Judge Me EP”

Nitti Gritti just surprised his fans with a new rock-inspired EP featuring his own production, vocals and instrumentals, called, Judge Me.
One of the most promising producers in the game is proving yet again why he has the potential to be one of the biggest names in the music industry. NITTI GRITTI has already created the reputation of an artist who won’t be confined to a single genre, and now he’s taken that one step further with his brand new rock music project.  This surprise EP – entitled “Judge Me” – features Nitti Gritti’s production, vocals, and instrumentals, proving once again how unbelievably talented this young producer is. With a Top 40 pop track, viral dubstep anthem, solo hip-hop project, and so much more already in his catalog of music, there’s no telling what else Nitti Gritti has up his sleeves.
Constantly pushing boundaries and breaking barriers with his music, Nitti Gritti has gained notoriety with his remixes of tracks like San Holo’s “Lights” and Kanye’s “All of the Lights,” which has been played by dozens of industry heavyweights such as Diplo, Jauz, NGHTMRE, Mija, Ookay, Tiesto and more. In under two years, Nitti Gritti has seen major success with his releases “Too Much,” “Famous,” and “Sick,” and especially his “C’est La Vie” EP and his “Fear” EP that were both released late last year. Nitti’s recent dubstep single “Crack” was signed by Tiesto’s label ‘Musical Freedom’ and was the seventh most played track at Ultra Miami this year. He also co-produced the latest Enrique Iglesias & Pitbull record entitled “Move To Miami” that has been making some serious waves on both the radio and streaming platforms.

Galantis Drops ‘The Aviary’ Album On Big Beat Records

Swedish duo, Christian Karlsson and Linus Eklow, also known as Galantis, are famous for their tracks “Peanut Butter Jelly” and “Runaway (U&I),” which has earned Grammy nominations for “Best Dance Recording” and “best Remixed Recording” via the Kaskade remix. They’ve performed at world-wide events such as Ultra, EDC, Coachella, Tomorrowland, Electric Zoo, Creamfields and more.

While their 2014 debut album, The Pharmacy, received a lot of praise, they are receiving fire reviews on their latest album, The Aviary, which came together in a constant touring climate. Fans and music critics everywhere are raving that the album is “mesmerizing,” “Smooth with sweet vocals perfectly blend for a performance that will have you showing off your best two-step,” and “catchy.” The key to their artistry’s evolution occurred while embracing change. Karlsson points to an epiphany he had while visiting an actual aviary in Hong Kong that helped inspire the new album’s namesake.

The album is now available via Big Beat Records, and is partnered with a U.S. tour. Stops include Los Angeles, Chicago, Austin and more. Galantis’ latest track, “Girls On Boys” featuring Rozes, which debuted at a YouTube live stream in New York City, is also featured on the album.

To celebrate release week, Galantis teamed up with Postmates for a sold out show in San Francisco, which marks the first time Postmates has ever teamed up with an artist for a live performance. The group also celebrated their official album release party at Marquee in New York City.
