Exclusive: Wynwood Fear Factory 2017

A special Halloween weekend kicked off in Miami with the popular Wynwood Fear Factory on Oct. 28 and Oct. 29th at the RC Cola Plant. Not only did thousands of ravers attend the two-day festival with haunted attractions and a mainstage with some of the hottest acts, but 100% of proceeds went to Global Empowerment Mission in light of the natural disasters that have occurred in the Southeast U.S.

On day one, despite the rain, music lovers without a doubt enjoyed their favorite artists such as Porter Robinson, The M Machine, Cedric Gervais, Andrew Rayel, Bad Royale, Madds, Dave Sol b2b Unomas and Kyro! b2b Eric Arraoyo. On the second day, due to weather conditions from the previous day, performances were switched around with a back-to-back performance by Oliver Heldens and Fedde Le Grand. The day continued with other special performances by GG Magree, Drezo, 3LAU, Martin Solveig, Yellow Claw, Big Gigantic and DJ Snake.

Aside from the music, many attendees got in the spirit of Halloween dressing up in fun costumes, enjoying crazy graffiti art and delicious food. The graffiti art added an urban vibe for everyone to get into the spirit of the spooky holiday. Despite all the tropical storm warning on day one, that didn’t stop South Florida from having fun, even though the gates opened two hours later.

After all the rain, day two was perfect with the sunshine and temperature being in the mid 70’s. Unfortunately DJ Snooko b2b with Loky were unable to play, but the event kicked off with DJ Sub Zero. Yellow Claw’s set was still a bass lovers’ dream despite the lights going off. At one point one member from Yellow Claw stood on the table and held their phone over the controllers, just so the other could keep playing. Now that’s team work, and the party kept going.

DJ Snake ended the night with a fire set, and while the power and sound went off on the stage right at the beginning of his set, that didn’t stop him at all. He started over and jumped back up on the table and started dancing to get the crowd going.

Diskolab Announces Wynwood Fear Factory in Miami Halloween Weekend

After making its debut in 2016, Wynwood Feat Factory is back for another scary year. The event became wildly popular with last year’s performers such as Armin van Buuren, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Flosstradamus, Adventure Club, Borgore and Oliver Heldens, with about 10,000 attendees over the weekend.

The Southeast region’s largest music and Halloween-themed festival returns to Miami presented by DiskoLab, on Saturday, October 28 and Sunday, October 29. The second edition is expected to be even bigger and better with big-name lineups and enhanced production. It will include multiple new features such as haunted attractions, entertainment, performers, art installations and popular food vendors.

The two-day extravaganza will take place at the “abandoned” old RC Cola Plant, located in Miami’s Wynwood Art District, which is the trendiest neighborhood in the city, showcasing art gallaries, restaurants/nightlife spots, and street art.

DiskoLab has also produced sold out events at this venue with Above & Beyond, Eric Prydz and Steve Aoki for his Dim Mak Miami takeover during Miami Music Week 2017.

Early bird general admission & VIP tickets go on sale Thursday, June 29 at 1pm EST via www.wynwoodfearfactory.com. GA tickets are 18+ ages, VIP Tickets are 21+.
