Swedish duo, Christian Karlsson and Linus Eklow, also known as Galantis, are famous for their tracks “Peanut Butter Jelly” and “Runaway (U&I),” which has earned Grammy nominations for “Best Dance Recording” and “best Remixed Recording” via the Kaskade remix. They’ve performed at world-wide events such as Ultra, EDC, Coachella, Tomorrowland, Electric Zoo, Creamfields and more.
While their 2014 debut album, The Pharmacy, received a lot of praise, they are receiving fire reviews on their latest album, The Aviary, which came together in a constant touring climate. Fans and music critics everywhere are raving that the album is “mesmerizing,” “Smooth with sweet vocals perfectly blend for a performance that will have you showing off your best two-step,” and “catchy.” The key to their artistry’s evolution occurred while embracing change. Karlsson points to an epiphany he had while visiting an actual aviary in Hong Kong that helped inspire the new album’s namesake.
The album is now available via Big Beat Records, and is partnered with a U.S. tour. Stops include Los Angeles, Chicago, Austin and more. Galantis’ latest track, “Girls On Boys” featuring Rozes, which debuted at a YouTube live stream in New York City, is also featured on the album.
To celebrate release week, Galantis teamed up with Postmates for a sold out show in San Francisco, which marks the first time Postmates has ever teamed up with an artist for a live performance. The group also celebrated their official album release party at Marquee in New York City.

After gaining a mass appeal from his future house rendition of Maroon 5‘s “This Summer is Going to Hurt,” Austrian DJ and producer, Phillip Bourdouli, better known as ESH, continued his momentum with his acclaimed deep house track, “Far Away” featuring Nathan and “My Favorite Game” featuring Chelsea Collins.
ESH has also produced some of the most popular remixes for Galantis, Vice, Jasmine Thompson and The Chainsmokers. Just coming off the success of his latest singles, ESH is back with another crowd pleaser called, “Higher,” which is an impressive deep house anthem. The track features Chris Burke’s soulful vocals, and perfectly showcases the producer’s melodic and inventive sound. The deep house tune is packed with tropical house vibes, blending wonderful chords with subtle piano, making it a feel good summer dance track.
With support from artists like Borgore, Dirty South, New World Sound, Mr. Belt and Wezol, ESH has gained a mass fan base with over two million global plays and over 18,000 Spotify monthly followers. “Higher” is now out on FYE Music.
As they get ready to kick off their New World tour, Krewella dropped their highly-anticipated track, “New World” with Yellow Claw, featuring Taylor Bennett.
Jahan and Yasmine Yousaf dropped the track today, which will be featured in their New World Part 2 EP, following the first edition. The single features a heavy middle eastern vibe in drop, staccato string elements paired with smaller brass instruments, keeping their Bollywood roots. Fans are treated to Yasmine rapping in the first half of the song, combined with the hip hop influence from Bennett. The trap track was first premiered at Tomorrowland during Krewella’s set, and the fans have been begging for its release ever since.
Krewella previously told us that this will be the first “big tour” that they’ve done in over three years, and “it’s going to be a culmination of over a year of planning and creating.” The sister-duo will be making stops all around North America in cities such as Dallas, D.C., New York, Miami, Orlando, Nashville, Toronto, and their hometown Chicago. For a full list of cities, click here.
Zeds Dead recently announced that they will be going on a North American Deadbeats tour, stringing along a special lineup of other DJs.
The Deadbeats tour will be making one special stop over Labor Day weekend in Miami. BLNK CNVS Presents, Miami’s very own prestige nightlife events company, will be bringing Eprom, Slander b2b with Kayzo, Space Jesus, Champagne Drip, and the Bass monsters themselves, Zeds Dead. So if you’re still looking for some fun Labor Day weekend plans, Deadbeats Miami is the way to go on Sept. 3.
The tour kicked off on June 30 in Calgary, Ab. and will continue to hit other cities such as Kansas City, Victoria, BC., Salt Lake City, London, Chicago, Seattle and more. A variety of artists will be a part of the tour including REZZ, NGHTMRE, Boregore, K?D, Ghastly, Mija, Anna Lunde, Sleep Bloop, Diskord, G Jones, GG Magree and many more.
