Currently based in Los Angeles, CRAY (Cheney Ray) is a DJ, producer, singer and gamer. Performing as an opener on Anna Lunoe’s HyperHouse Tour in 2016 gave CRAY the momentum needed to throw herself fully into her music career. Since then, her incredibly energetic sets have earned her a spot on festivals such as HARD SummerAudiotistic and Electric Zoo. In 2018, CRAY kicked off the year touring through Japan alongside Skrillex, followed by an Australian headline tour. Musically inspired by her love for classical jazz and swing artists like Frank Sinatra and Billie Holiday, CRAY brings a refreshing perspective to the electronic scene. Her inventive records allow her to avoid labels and continually reinvent her sound, resulting in a fan base that spans the indie electronic, pop and dance genres. On her latest single “Peaches,” she added her own vocals into the mix, another dimension that sets her apart and she recently lent her remix skills toMaroon 5’s “Girls Like You Featuring Cardi B.”

Though young at 23 years of age, REZZ is anything but an amateur. Producing state of the art, genre-bending works, while striking a sharp balance between bass heavy and minimal tech compositions, she oozes originality and stands shoulder to shoulder with the very best in the electronic music scene. With a handful of projects now under her belt, “Space Mom” returned this August with CERTAIN KIND OF MAGIC, her new artist album for mau5trap. With an arsenal of new music and sold-out shows plus recent headlining slots at Coachella (Sahara tent) and MovementREZZ is taking big steps forward.  CERTAIN KIND OF MAGIC captures her ever-evolving and idiosyncratic electro sound.  On this turn, in addition to her solo tracks she taps newcomers such as 1788-L, Deathpact, Kotek, 13 and Fytch, adding to the battery of her menacing productions.  Check out the album now at:

Coming straight out of South East London, rising multi-genre, multifaceted producer TroyBoi goes against the grain when it comes to his music. Since skyrocketing onto the scene in 2013, TroyBoi, née Troy Henry, left his distinguished mark on the music world on the strength of his unique original productions which blend multicultural influences and hip-hop finesse built atop versatile, hook-laced, trap-infused beats as heard on his 2017 debut album Left Is Right. This spring, rising sensation Billie Eilish tapped TroyBoi for a special remix of “My Boi.” Fans were treated to a surprise recently, when, during his second appearance at Coachella, TroyBoi released a new six-track EP V!BEZ via T dot Music. “I’ve been exploring and creating various types of tracks, all with different V!BES to them,” says TroyBoi. “Since I ended up making so many different tracks, I struggled choosing which song I wanted to release first, so instead of trickling songs out one by one, I thought it made sense for me to release a few all at once.”
TroyBoi adds: “V!BEZ for everyone. ‘Sunset In Costa Rica’ was made on my hotel balcony in Costa Rica overlooking one of the most beautiful sunsets I’ve ever seen. ‘Wickedest Bounce’–I love music from the 80’s (I’m an 80’s baby) and wanted to put my spin on that era’s sound with a combination of elements. ‘HEY BO!’ & ‘No Games’ are for the bass heads. ‘Spooky’ feat my boy David Stewart is a song that we’ve both been dying to release for ages. Sexy V!BEZ. In a nutshell, I hope everyone enjoys all the eclectic V!BEZ on this ep. Much love.”

The Chainsmokers and NGHTMRE Join Forces For “Save Yourself”

On their new release “Save Yourself,” The Chainsmokers and NGHTMRE demonstrate the magic that can happen when two prolific artists with radically different sounds bring their A-game to a collaboration. The track delivers NGHTMRE‘s signature heavy basslines and stabbing synths along with The Chainsmokers‘ high-energy production and penchant for catchy vocals; the result is a masterful exhibit of genre-bending music that’s guaranteed to be on heavy radio and festival rotation this season. “Save Yourself” is out on Sony Music/Disruptor Records, and The Chainsmokers and NGHTMRE couldn’t be more stoked to officially share it with their fans.

Tyler(NGHTMRE) has been a good friend of ours for some time and we always talked about how great it would be to work together on a song. We have always been a huge fan of his style of producing and thought that if we came together on a song we could make something really unique and badass, and the idea of making something really gnarly was very appealing. We come from the dance world, those are our roots and we are really excited to release a song that is deeply rooted in that with NGHTMRE. We think our fans will be really excited about this one!” – say The Chainsmokers.

Fresh off of his recent Billboard Hot 100 Festival performance, NGHTMRE was looking forward to releasing the track after dropping it during several live sets.

“The guys and I had been talking about working on something together for a little while. I was excited to hear they wanted to create a heavier track with more of a festival vibe. Everything just came together so perfectly in the end and the track has been smashing in our live shows. Hope you guys like it as much as we do!”

Both NGHTMRE and The Chainsmokers have experienced monumental success in their relatively short careers, soaring to the upper echelon of dance music stardom. Through his meticulous, earth-shattering productions and equally electrifying live sets, NGHTMRE has earned his place as one of bass music’s most notable artists. Since 2015’s instant hit “Gud Vibrations,” (with SLANDER), he’s grown the Gud Vibrations brand to a multi-event series, selling out their boat party during Miami Music Week and launching their own festival in SoCal. Likewise, The Chainsmokers have become one of the most recognizable faces in electronic music, with a multitude of mega-hits, including their debut “Selfie” and radio gems “Closer,” “Paris,” and many more. We can’t wait to see what these artists come up with next as they continue to evolve and change the paradigm of modern dance music.

Bro Safari and UFO! Unveil Part 1 of Their Experimental ‘Clockwork’ Album

After giving fans a sample of their upcoming album project with the release of “N.U.M.B.,” Bro Safari and UFO! are ready to unveil the full first selection of music. The three-track “Clockwork (Pt. 1)” is experimental bass music at its finest, packed with wonky, out of this world wubs.

“Clockwork (Pt. 1)” ignites with “N.U.M.B.,” which gave fans of a taste of the intergalactic magic that was to come from the two powerhouse producers. “Inaccessible” takes listeners a step deeper, beginning with an eerie vocal buildup that leads to a trippy drop filled with spacey melodies. The trifecta concludes with the mystifying “Break the Curse,” a dynamic track that transports fans deep into the realms of the galaxy through its dark loops and synths.

With themes of science fiction and space exploration, the unique Clockwork album in its entirety connects the constellation dots between avant-garde bass and other leftfield sounds with a conceptual listening journey through the artist’s personal musical influences. The rest of Clockwork will be released in discrete segments over the next few weeks; more pieces of the puzzle will come together soon.

Bro Safari and UFO! will be unveiling their new approach to bass music with a tour, set to hit intimate clubs across North America this fall. Be on the lookout for dates.

Jauz drops “Super Fly” featuring 666

With just one week to go until the release of his massive debut artist album The Wise and The Wicked, Jauz presents the final advance single from the work; “Super Fly.” The track features the legendary German producer 666 and gives fans another intriguing taste of the dynamic album.

“Super Fly” is funkified bass house packed with disordered synths. The track is featured in the fourth chapter of the album (dubbed “The United”) that’s described by Jauz as the middle ground between crazy club bangers and emotional experimental music. It perfectly illustrates the blend between the production stylings of The Wise and The Wicked.

The Wise and The Wicked is more than just an album, but a story of a distant future dystopia that resulted from the increasing threats to our society in our current day in age. The conceptual album is split into chapters, using the tracks and their order to tell the intense story of the dystopia dreamt up by Jauz himself.

The five chapters of the album consist of the battles between The Wise and The Wicked, which eventually results into the joint power; The United. “The Wise” represents those in the dystopia who inspire the masses by using intelligence and knowledge, and hope to find a cure for the ailing earth we live on with new groundbreaking technologies. “The Wicked” represents those who believe in full anarchism, using anger and aggressiveness to grow their ranks. The United represents those who are fueled by passion to create a better world. They have realized that this fight is not between two sides of humanity, but between all of humanity itself and everything that corrupted both sides into sinking our world deeper into darkness.

SLANDER, Crankdat and Asking Alexandria Team Up For “Kneel Before Me”

SLANDER ventures into uncharted territory on their hardcore-meets-bass music track “Kneel Before Me” in collaboration with leading UK rock band, Asking Alexandria, and rising talent, Crankdat, on Monstercat/Sumerian Records. Opening with the notes of a sinister storm, “Kneel Before Me” evokes images of the Amazonian jungle during the apocalypse, filled with the sounds of the wild – grating mechanical synths intertwine with the shrieking of animals and growling basslines become one with the clap of thunder. SLANDER‘s cutting edge production style and Asking Alexandria‘s angst-ridden vocals give “Kneel Before Me” both emotional and dancefloor appeal, merging the best of heavy rock with the energetic and dynamic bass of dance music. The track has personal significance to SLANDER, as rock and hardcore music were the first genres they immersed themselves in as teenagers; they blasted bands like Avenged SevenfoldUnderoath, and Asking Alexandria themselves from their car speakers in their high school’s parking lot.

This kind of music is in our core and is where a lot of our other tastes developed from, so if you can imagine how thrilled we were when Asking Alexandria agreed to be a part of our new song with Crankdat!” the duo said. “Our goal with this song was to make our own rendition of hardcore music with dubstep at its core, essentially bringing our musical roots into 2018! Hope you guys dig it!

SLANDER has proven they are capable of so much more than a singular genre. Recently, the duo has been experimenting with an evolved, ever-changing sound on their original productions, proving their ability to produce both bass-heavy headbangers and emotionally stirring melodies. Pairing their multifaceted production with their charismatic stage presence, SLANDER has also made their brand “Gud Vibrations” with NGHTMRE into a bonafide lifestyle. In 2018 they sold out their Gud Vibrations Boat Party in less than 3 minutes during Miami Music Week, and the listenership of their collaborative Sirius XM radio show grows weekly.

In their own right, Asking Alexandria have earned their esteemed place in rock history by combining the innovation of modern active rock with the traditional attitude of the culture’s trailblazers. They’ve shared the stage with legendary artists Guns N’ RosesGreen DayAlice In ChainsAvenged SevenfoldSlipknot and more, as well as played every major rock festival in the world and headlined sold out theater tours. Their singles “The Final Episode” and “Not the American Average” were both certified gold by the RIAA. The music videos for those two singles alone amassed over 100M views on YouTube. Their third full length album, From Death to Destiny (2013), shot to #1 on the Rock and Metal charts in the U.K. and cracked the Top 5 of the Billboard 200 in the United States upon its release. Rounding out the “Kneel Before Me” collaboration with an infusion of fresh, bass-heavy talent, Crankdat is an American DJ and producer who soon will be a household name. He’s experienced early success with releases such as “Reasons to Run,” “Lemme See U” with Ghastly, and his popular remix of San Holo‘s “Light.” Crankdat recently released a mix for Diplo & Friends‘ radio show, further solidifying his spot among dance music’s rising stars. Stay tuned as SLANDERAsking Alexandria and Crankdat continue to break down genre boundaries!

Seven Lions returns on his own Ophelia Records with an old friend and collaborator in tow – Fiora. Together, they release After Dark – the second single off of an EP project from Seven Lions that features the vocalist liberally throughout. After Dark follows an already rich history of commercially successful tracks on Ophelia Records – tracks like ‘Dreamin’ (also with Fiora), Ocean, and Calling You Home have quickly vaulted themselves into the upper echelon of fan favorites, making 2018 one of the most successful years in Seven Lions’ career.

Funtcase Puts a Grimy Spin on Snails’ ‘Forever’

Everyone’s favorite Vomitstep producer, Snails, is about to drop a remixed version of his debut album “The Shell” – and he’s given us a taste of the utter destruction to come with the release of Funtcase‘s remix of “Forever.” Funtcase rises to the challenge by incorporating a fresh dose of grimy, mechanical synths and face-melting basslines, which gives the producer’s legion of headbanging fans yet another reason to go absolutely wild during his notorious live sets.

I loved writing this remix, the original I was playing for absolutely AGES before release, so I was happy when Snails said I could remix it…hope you enjoy,” stated Funtcase as he unleashes this monster remix to the public.

The “Forever” remix is out on Snails‘s Slugz Music and follows up the label’s much-anticipated first release “Shake the Ground” with Kill the Noise and Sullivan King & Jonah Kay last month.

For his part, Snails has been relatively close-lipped about who else will be featured on the remix album or its exact date of release, but rest assured it will be filled with the gut-wrenching bass and metal sound that has become an underground cult favorite. As for the first remix release, Snails gives it the Vomitstep stamp of approval.

Funtcase‘s remix of ‘Forever‘ from my album ‘The Shell‘ is one of the biggest tracks in my set right now and seriously goes off every time,” he says. “I knew as soon as I sent him the stems, he would destroy it. I’ve been such a fan of his for a long time now and so stoked he put his own spin on this one and could be a part of the remix album.”

For the chance to hear the “Forever” remix in the flesh, head to Snails‘s Sluggtopia showcase at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre on October 5th, where Funtcase will play a special b2b set with Cookie Monsta. Rest assured, this is one you don’t want to miss!
