Read about J. Worra Born and raised in a small town North of Chicago, IL, J. Worra aka Jamie Sitter has always been drawn to different genres of music. In 2011, while living in Chicago, she finally dove head first into DJing and music production. After holding several residencies in Chicago like SpyBar, The Mid, and more, Jamie decided that it was time to head West and see what Los Angeles had to offer. Even though she is now in LA, you can still hear the sounds of her roots in all of her production. Some of her biggest influences are Green Velvet, Gene Farris, Chris Lake, and Billy Kenny.
When asked about how she wants to impact the music industry she said, “I want to change the tone, I want to show what women are capable of, and what hard work and being true looks like, and above all I want to impact peoples lives in a positive way.”
In two short years, rrotik has rapidly ascended through the ranks to become one of the fastest-rising acts in the electronic scene. Hailing from Brazil, the budding producer is making his mark worldwide on the strength of his diverse, wide-ranging sound and eclectic tastes, which traverse the house, tech house, techno and bass house genres and beyond. His extensive list of supporters includes Claude VonStroke, Rezz, David Guetta, Oliver Heldens, AC Slater, Afrojack and Martin Garrix who has placed rrotik’s tracks in his radio show, live sets and Spotify playlists numerous times. Widespread media coverage has come from Magnetic, Earmilk, Big Shot, Nest HQ, Four Over Four (Jukely) and Dancing Astronaut, who recently dubbed him “a talent to watch.”
Contributing to festival anthems and top charting hits, Dances with White Girls has become a household name in the music industry. Spanning across a multitude of genres with skills as a producer, DJ and lyricist – it’s rare to go into a club and not hear Dances lyrically annihilating the speakers. Paving an eclectic array of musical avenues for himself, Dances has had past hits working with Latin superstar Pitbull as well as well-known Electronic acts Chris Lake, Walker & Royce, Huxley, TJR, Sinden, Wax Motif, Wuki just to name a few.
